Chemical and Materials Engineering Buildings, Phases 1 & 2
Raleigh, North Carolina
ColeJenest & Stone participated in the planning and provided all site construction documents, including civil engineering and landscape architecture, for the relocation of the College of Engineering from the heart of campus to Centennial Campus. The project involved site design for two classroom buildings, which form the initial edge of the Oval and a significant open space on the new campus.
In addition to the customary site development plans such as location, grading, and drainage plans, ColeJenest & Stone worked closely with the architect in designing rain gardens and implementing other progressive "green" practices to demonstrate the University's commitment to environmental quality.
