Diagnostic & Treatment Pavilion

The Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Pavilion at CMC Union in Monroe, North Carolina is a two-story addition to the existing hospital creating a new image for the medical center.  ColeJenest & Stone provided the civil engineering and landscape architectural services for the project from the preparation of the Conditional Use Master Plan through Construction Administration.

Our collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the City of Monroe, the Architect and various consultants facilitated the team approach to the project.

Campus Park

The Campus Park was developed within a large existing parking lot island, adjacent to the existing Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Pavilion.  Campus Park provides a place of relaxation for patients and staff.  Elements in the park include a water feature, brick paving, custom benches, lush landscaping, irrigation and landscape lighting.

ColeJenest & Stone also provided design and construction administrative services for the new monumentation signage at the prominent highway of U.S. 74 and Franklin Street.

Master Parking Plan

ColeJenest & Stone also prepared a Master Plan for existing and proposed parking, a realigned main entrance drive from Highway 74, utility relocations, a central plant and an internal vehicular and pedestrian circulation loop system for the hospital campus.
