Piedmont Town Center

ColeJenest & Stone provided landscape architecture and civil engineering services, including detailed hardscape design, site CD’s and planting design for the 19-acre, $125 million Piedmont Town Center site.

The project consisted of office, street-level retail, restaurants and residential components, all of which are oriented to a pedestrian-friendly street system.

The main focal point is a signature water feature and roundabout, both part of the central plaza that welcomes visitors.

Our firm provided rezoning consultation and provided interface with the adjoining neighborhood and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission staff. 

The project preserves and enhances a significant natural area which provides a buffer for the neighborhood and a green space for the new project.

Our firm will also be involved in the next phase of the project, which will be high-rise residential. Building A is 216,000 SF and Building B is 207,000 SF.
